48 Hours makes a strong case against Sherry Henry, but I'd like to play devil's advocate, and suggest that Lisa possibly committed suicide or otherwise chose to exit her life.
IMO 48 Hours left out some details that suggest Lisa Stone may have been more unstable than the "Facebook Detectives" believe. For example, when the police searched the home of Sherry Henry and Lisa Stone, they seized 26 cats. Believe me, I'm an animal lover, but I do not believe it is healthy for cats OR humans to live like that. It suggests more serious mental illness to me. Source: Dallas Morning News
There's also the fact that it would be very difficult for Sherry Henry, a relatively small woman, to move a body on her own. A detective on 48 Hours said Sherry Henry must have had an accomplice. Given all the (somewhat nosy) neighbors reporting on Sherry's whereabouts in June, why aren't there any stories about two people moving a large object? Sherry was allegedly seen leaving a muddy creek area - why wasn't her accomplice with her then, if she was disposing of a body?
On 48 Hours Sherry Henry admitted that she was seeing another woman at the time of Lisa Stone's disappearance. I suppose it's possible the two women disposed of Lisa Stone's body, but given how observant the neighbors seem to be, wouldn't they have noticed Sherry Henry and another woman removing a large object from the house? In fact, I couldn't find any reports about another woman joining Sherry at Lisa's house, ever.
Sherry also suggested on 48 Hours that Lisa knew about Sherry's relationship with another woman. Sounds to me like Sherry and Lisa were mostly broken up when Lisa disappeared. From there, it's possible to see Sherry's behavior as angry, insensitive post-break-up reactions, however inappropriate.
I could go on, but I don't want to write a novel.
To be clear, I am not rejecting the theory that Lisa Stone was killed by Sherry Henry. I think it is a tragedy that the police did not investigate more vigorously when Lisa's friends first reported her disappearance. I think the questions above are worth discussing, though; maybe if you can refute my points, it will build a stronger case against Sherry.
